- Here’s how to import customers from QuickBooks Online to Skimmer. For the purpose of this tutorial, we’ll assume you’ve already connected your Skimmer account to QBO. On GetSkimmer.com, make sure you’re logged in, then go to the Customers tab. From there, click the Import from QuickBooks button in the top right corner.

- This will take you to an import screen with a few different options. Click Import Customers. On the next screen, you’ll see a list of customers that are ready to import. These are only customers that you have not already imported. If you import a customer, they won’t show up on this list again, unless you delete them from Skimmer. Also the customers must be listed as Active in QBO in order to be imported. Note that six customers are ready to be imported, but at the bottom we have an error about a seventh account. Customer information must be correctly formatted or you’ll receive an error, so make sure all of your data is in the right place and formatted. When you’re ready, click the Import button.

- You’ll get a progress bar, so let sit tight while Skimmer imports the customers. Once the import is complete, check the Customers list and you’ll see that your new customers are there. Now you’re ready to set them up for service.
