Step-by-step instructions . . .

1
Here’s how to set service rates for multiple customers at a time. Log into GetSkimmer.com and navigate to the Customers screen. In the top right corner, click the button labeled Service Rates. This will bring you to the Service Rates screen.
2
First, let’s note a few features. At the top, you’ll see the different ways you can filter the list. By tag, rate type, labor cost type, or just by typing a name in the search bar. Scroll to the bottom and you’ll also see that you can choose how many customers will appear on each screen: 25, 50, or 100. On the right, you can manage Rate, Rate Type, Labor Cost, and Labor Cost Type for all of your customers without having to click into their individual profiles. You can use these text boxes and dropdown menus to make changes to any customer.

3
You can do more than make these changes individually. Skimmer lets you apply a change to multiple customers at once. Here’s how to do it. Let’s start small by checking the box on the left of a customer’s name. You’ll see that once we check two or more, the Bulk Update option appears at the top of the screen. If you want to apply this change to every customer on the screen, check the box next to Customer at the top, and you’ll see that every customer on this screen is now selected. Note that this doesn’t select everyone in your full Customers list, only those on this screen. So you can make bulk updates for up to 100 customers at a time.

4
You can also bulk apply changes to a filtered list. For example, if you choose to view only customers with the Per Month Plus Chemicals rate type, then you can click the Customer checkbox and select all the customers with this rate type.

5
So, we’ve shown you how to select who you want to make changes for. Now let’s actually bulk apply a change. We’ll select some customers and click the Bulk Update button at the top, and the Bulk Update screen appears. Right away, you’ll see that we don’t have to apply changes for every category. We can choose what want to update and click the Enable box for those categories. When you’re finished, click Save. And you can see the new rate and rate type of have been applied to all customers that we selected.
