This applies to Apple mobile devices, which come with Apple Maps but allow you to download Google Maps. It does not apply to Android, which do not offer the option of downloading Apple Maps. On your device, open the Skimmer app and navigate to Settings.

Scroll down. There you’ll find a toggle option to Use Google Maps for Directions. Your Apple device defaults to using Apple Maps, but if you toggle this option on, it will override that default.
