Step-by-step instructions . . .

1

Optimizing your work can be overwhelming. That's why Skimmer created the Schedule–to help visualize work over longer periods of time and multiple techs’ schedules, so you can make scheduling decisions based on tech availability and geographic location. The Schedule allows you to . . .

view and change activities that are currently scheduled

The Schedule has three modules:

– Calendar: displays scheduled activities for all techs

– Unscheduled Bin: displays reminders for upcoming work orders that need to be created and scheduled, work orders that have been created but not scheduled, and customers that don’t have routine service scheduled (usually weekly or bi-weekly)

– Map: view pin locations for both scheduled and unscheduled work

3
Easily make changes to the Schedule with drag-and-drop, with menu options, or with the map.

4
When you navigate to the Schedule, check the header and you’ll see some overall options. It defaults to the week you’re currently in, but you can click the Calendar button and select a different day, which will switch you to that week. You also have other buttons for navigating between weeks and then returning to the current one. If you navigate away from the Schedule, but then come back and reload this page, it will revert to the default of the current week. The refresh button updates the Schedule with any changes that have occurred.

You can also choose what modules you want to view.

The page defaults to viewing everything: scheduled, unscheduled, and the map. Uncheck to switch any off at any point, to change what you're viewing. When you make this change, it sticks to the device you’re currently using, not your user account.
