Here’s how Skimmer gives you the tools for organization management, or overseeing multiple Skimmer companies using one account. On request, Skimmer admins will connect your companies under an entity called an Organization. They will also designate Organization Admins, choosing from a combined list of users from all companies in the organization, and those Admins will have access to manage the Organization. They will then activate this Organization, which grants managing access to those Admins. These steps can only be done by Skimmer, never by subscribers.

When an Organization Admin logs into Skimmer, they will see an option at the top of the screen called Manage Org. Click it to access a list of all Skimmer users from all companies in your Organization. From here, you can manage their access. So, if you want to grant a user from one company access to multiple companies in the Organization, you can do so, also selecting their level of access within each company. They can then use their single login credentials to access any company for which you have granted them access–no need to create a new account for them in each one.

Organization Admins do not natively have user access to multiple companies. They only have access to manage the Organization. If an Organization Admin wants user access to multiple companies, those rights must be granted to their user account, just like any other. This is what it looks like when a user has both Organization and multi-company access.

When a user is granted access to multiple companies within an Organization, a selector menu option will appear on the screen when they log into Skimmer. Using the selector, they can switch between companies for which they’ve been granted access with the one user account, without the need to log out of one company and then log into another.
Note: This example user has a certain level of access in the company they’re currently logged into. When they use the selector to switch, their account now has the access specific to what they’ve been granted in the new company.
