Mobile Quotes - Getting Started

Everything you need to get started with Mobile Quotes

You spot repair needs and upsell opportunities every day during service stops. Now you can act on them immediately—building complete quotes right from your phone while standing with the customer.

What you can do with Mobile Quotes

  • Create quotes from mobile (3 entry points: Route Dashboard, Route Stop, Customer Profile)
  • Add line items with pricing from your product catalog or create custom items
  • Apply discounts and fees (percentage or flat amount)
  • Set deposit requirements (percentage or flat amount)
  • Add internal notes for your office team (customers won't see these)
  • Take photos with the camera or upload from camera roll (📸 NEW!)
  • Save quotes as drafts and finish them later
  • Submit quotes to the back office for review before they go to customers
  • View quotes in customer profile (last 5 per customer)
  • Sync quotes created on mobile to web
  • Work completely offline and sync when the connection returns

Setting up your team

Roles & permissions

Business owners and admins have full access by default. To enable Mobile Quotes for your team, you'll need to create or update custom roles and turn on at least one of the two permissions below:

  • Can view and build quotes in app - team members can create quotes and submit them to the office for review
  • "Send for customer approval in app."  - team members can also send directly to the customer and capture a signature on the mobile device

This means you can control who can access build quotes in the field and who can send them directly to the customer for approval.

If a user does not see Mobile Quotes in the app, review their assigned role in Settings > Users.

Using mobile quotes in the field

Once a tech has the required permissions, they can follow these steps:

1. Choose your entry point

  • Route Dashboard
  • Route Stop
  • Customer Profile

Start a quote from wherever makes sense—whether you're planning your day or already on-site with a customer.

2. Build your quote

Pull products from your catalog or create custom items. Add photos from your camera or photo library to show customers exactly what needs fixing. Apply discounts, fees, deposits, and internal notes as needed.

3. Save or submit

  • Draft: Save and continue later when you have more information
  • Review & send: Submit to the office for approval when you're ready or send directly to the customer if you have the required permission
