Skimmer stores your data on the cloud, which allows you to access it with multiple devices. So, if you have a phone and a tablet, you can have the Skimmer app on both, and you can login and view your route and customer information on either one. But what about entering new data or managing the route on the app? Each user should choose only one device for that. 

On the Skimmer app, go to the Settings tab.

You’ll find the Sync Zone at the top. This area helps you know when the app last synced with the cloud. Note the toggle option called Primary Device for Route. If you only have the Skimmer app on one mobile device, this should definitely be toggled ON for that device.

However, if you use multiple mobile devices, this should be toggled ON for only one. That will be your main device–the one you’ll use to enter information and manage the route. If a user has more than one device marked as primary for their account, that can result in duplicated route stops.
