Get Email Alerts When Work Orders Are Created (Web)

- If you want to know whenever a new work order is created, you can easily set up email alerts on the web to let you know automatically. Go to Settings, and then Work Order Types. Here you’ll see all the work order types that have already been set up. They can each be configured individually, so that you only get notifications for the specific work order types you want to know about. To demonstrate, we’ll edit the settings for a Service Call. Click on that and an edit screen will appear.
In the Basic Info area at the top of the screen, you’ll see several check boxes you can use to activate different options. Look at the second one down - alert office when work order added. We’ll check that to turn it on, then hit Save at the bottom of the screen. Now, whenever a Service Call work order is created, you’ll receive an email letting you know the details.
