Step-by-step instructions . . .

1
While Skimmer mainly organizes your work by task, we know that sometimes you need to service a customer at a particular time. So we give you a way to add a scheduled time range to your work orders. Here’s how to do it on the web. Start by choosing your customer. Click into their account, locate the Work Orders box, and click Add.

2
Enter the basic information for the service. Choose your work order type, assign a tech and a day. Now we come to the Scheduled Time box. Note that it says Optional. You don’t have to enter a time, but you can if you like. Also, you’re not restricted to just entering one time. You could enter 10am or put a range. Then click Save.

3
Checking our customer page again, you can see the Work Order is scheduled. Now, you’ll notice the time isn’t noted here on the web, and that’s because your tech’s going to see it on the app, where the work will actually be performed and recorded.

Check the bottom of this tutorial page and you’ll see a screenshot of how it looks on the app. You’ll see it right in the color-coded box. So all your tech has to do is glance at it and they’ll know when they should be there.
